The 5x5 Project
5 Singing Trees™ in 5 years
The 5 x 5 Project has been conceived as a means to create creative connection in the world through bringing together humanly diverse and geographically distant communities into mutual support around a common striving.
Five communities will undertake five Singing Trees each over five years. They will meet together online and, when possible, in person. They will share planning and training of their Singing Trees and support each other in the execution of their projects. Some funding will be centralized at UTC; much will be left to the local communities with the administrative support of UTC.
It is the intention in forming the 5x5 project that at least one person from each place, and preferable two, will be trained as facilitators each year.
