The Gratitude Singing Tree included 80 members of NASA’s Creative Learning Group at the Goddard Space Facility in Maryland. This learning community was facilitated by Master Coach Joan Wangler. She and Laurie Marshall brought the Singing Tree Mural Project to NASA with the theme of “Space to Grow.” The design was inspired by a painting of Saint Hildegard of Bingen, exploring a tree growing through four seasons.  The participants expressed their thanks for the quality of each season: Winter - rest and introspection, Spring - new beginnings, Summer - steady growth, Fall, the harvest. There are hands holding a seed at the center of the painting.
