The Mahogany Singing Tree to Reunite Children with Their Families (11 x 7) was co-designed with middle school students from Hearthstone School, Sperryville, VA. UTC then partnered with  ReDesign Training to add a leaf for each of the 368 children who were still separated from their families as of June 2021 since being split apart in 2018 at the U.S./Mexican border. People from Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, California, Canada gave leaves and birds with prayers for reuniting. $13,000 was raised for Kids in Need of Defense who has helped to bringing together 1100 families out of the 5700 who were torn apart.
