Created Singing Trees with Mindful Parent groups in Marquette and Munising, Michigan,   The Marquette group chose to honor the White Pine, the Munising group chose to honor the Birch Tree.  Turns out these two species of trees send each other sugar  - the White Pine sends sugar to the Birch in the winter and the Birch sends sugar to the White Pine in the summer.  It's lovely for parents to support each other and to be supported by the Great Start Collaborative!!!
