As an artist and educator, Andrea has had the privilege of inspiring creativity and curiosity through the arts for more than 24 years. Her work spans classrooms, community projects, and collaborative partnerships with school districts, state arts councils, and nonprofit organizations. She is currently an Arts Education Specialist for the Siskiyou County Office of Education.  Holding a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, she has dedicated her career to designing and leading arts programs that are challenging, meaningful and deeply engaging for school-aged learners.

As an artist and educator, Andrea believes in the transformative power of the arts to connect, uplift, and empower. Whether developing curriculum through state grants or working alongside teachers to integrate the arts across disciplines, Andrea strives to make creativity a central and accessible part of every child’s education.  Most recently, she led the county strategic planning for arts in schools, with funding from the California Superintendents Arts Initiative, collaborating with an incredible array of community members, educators, and California arts consultant Peggy Burt. This experience deepened Andrea’s commitment to arts leadership and to building sustainable, visionary pathways for arts education.

Andrea is passionate about guiding students and communities to see the world not just as it is, but as it could be—beautiful, connected, and full of possibility through the arts.
